In a career spanning over twenty years of experience as a people focused leader and coach in sales and marketing for the Food & Beverage and Finance industries as well as Entrepreneurial roles.
Jonathan has led multiple teams to success and helped many people realize their full potential, while developing the food, wine and spirits culture in Asia and the USA. Jonathan led South China, Hong Kong and Macau for ASC Fine Wines, the largest fine wine importer in Greater China as well as Trade Marketing for Edrington, owner of such storied brands as The Macallan, Highland Park and The Famous Grouse.
His passions extend beyond F&B to include motivational speaking, professional coaching and development to build mission around clarity of passion and purpose. Jonathan has often been heard to extoll that “excellence is found at the crossroads of skills, passion and purpose.” Brand Evangelist and Route to Market Expert known for leading beverage brands in North America, Hong Kong, PRC, and Asia-Pacific, Jonathan believes that telling the story of the product well is critical to developing the relationship with the consumer.
Excellence in the leadership of Sales, Marketing, Brand Management and Operations supported by a world view and the talent to identify areas of potential growth. After starting his journey as a classically trained chef and restaurateur with a Culinary Arts degree followed by a BA at The School of Hospitality Business, at Michigan State and an MBA from the Richard Ivey School of Business as well as Court of Master Sommelier and advanced WSET certifications.
He has established broad experience in multiple sectors including import, distribution, hotels and restaurants. Jonathan is truly passionate about spreading food and beverage culture, especially when served together to create a great experience.
